Located on the south west side of Littleton Colorado. You must have a state parks pass or buy a day pass to get in. The scuba area is actually King Fisher Pond located on the south side of Chatfield Reservoir within the Reservoir area. Close parking and unloading. No surface swims to O.W. training sites. Tree's close by. Park rangers and staff are very friendly. However, you will be get a ticket if you park on the side of the road instead of using the parking areas.
Disadvantages:
Visibility is about 1 to 5 feet. Bathrooms and facilities are not close by. On weekends, due to the small area used by divers for entry, the beach area fills up quickly. In the summer months, if there's no wind, the mosquitoes can get really bad.
